A Tribute: Char says he couldn’t have realized his dream without the help of his first clients, Dr. Bob Margeas and Dr. Paul Polydoran who initially sent him work and got his laboratory off the ground. In addition, when part of Char’s financing fell through, Margeas loaned him the money to complete the renovation. Polydoran passed away in 2007 and this painting of him done by Char hangs in the lab as a tribute.
A Unique Collection Wall niches in the porcelain room display Char’s unique collection of prehistoric fish fossils. This room also features a 47â€-screen TV—a feature Char incorporated to create a more fun, relaxing atmosphere.
Model Room The first-floor model room features contemporary white cabinets from Dental Arte and stainless steel countertops. A large glass window that looks into the shipping and receiving area gives the room an open, airy feel.
Reception The lab’s reception area features a striking orange accent wall and shows off Char’s contemporary taste. A large piece of abstract metal artwork—one of many throughout the lab—is mounted to the reception desk and a modern cherry-red, fiberglass chair welcomes visitors.
