Preat Introduces New PRISM Services, Removable and Implant Products
Posted Apr 11, 2013 in Product News
Preat Corp.'s PRISM Milling Center now offers implant frameworks with a new pearl texture surface, which provides mechanical retention and maximum space for resin for increased esthetics. The frameworks are created using selective laser melting and the finish lines and implant interfaces are then milled.
PRISM also introduced digitally designed and printed chrome cobalt removable partial frameworks. Simply scan, design and email your .stl design file and you receive a finished and polished framework ready for try-in. Design files are accepted from 3Shape, DentalWings and Sensable systems.
Preat Corp. also introduced a host of new products during LAB DAY, including:
The Universal Plunger Loc is an easy-to-service titanium locking plunger for overdenture bars. It's the same size as the Lew Passive & Swiss Loc plungers and requires no special techniques.
IC/Hannes Anchor is a spring-loaded retaining attachment that provides free movement for abutment protection without requiring an abutment crown.
American Mini is an extracoronal, adjustable, resilient distal extension attachment that has a Delrin castable male and a stainless steel female. It's compatible with Mini-Dalbo and Swiss Mini systems.
Hader Alignment Housings have an occlusal alignment groove to eliminate rotation and vertical and horizontal retention grooves for acrylic. They require less buccal/lingual space than traditional housings.
Blue Hader Clip is ideal for significantly worn Hader and Round bars.
O-ring implant abutments are now available for Branemark RP, Zimmer TSV NP, Zimmer TSV RP and compatible systems.
Clix Ball Abutments feature a 2.25-mm female that provides an audible click and grabs a greater surface area of the ball abutment for more retention, less wear and less servicing. The abutments are now available for Zimmer TSV NP, Zimmer TSV RP and compatible systems.
